Background:
A Major Power producer using mainly Super Critical Technology for Coal-based Thermal Power Generation evolved to have multiple power generation sites. Each site having multiple generation units spread across different geographical locations were a mix of green field assets & acquired brown field assets. Each generation site had operations being handled through automation systems supplied by some of the world’s major automation vendors.
Business Objective:
The head office & each generation location planned to track & measure the key performance parameters including switchyard, in real-time.

Approach:
A team of consultants worked with customers, application technology vendors to map various client requirements from planning, scheduling, remote monitoring diagnosis, etc. including data gathering, IT security policy validation, etc. to deliver the agreed project metrics.
